  19. ImageFX could do this, but that wasn't the answer I was looking for!

  21. Where is the flexibility in you suggested method? What if I'd like
  22. move the pictures slightly? The overall extra work this would require
  23. makes me thing that your solution isn't really a good one. If one
  24. thinks about the memory and storage aspects of working with bigger 
  25. images the picture gets even clearer and what about fencing? Now
  26. I can let the text flow around the two images but if I'd join them
  27. that would severely limit me in where to put the text!

  29. Are you aware of the nature and magintude of the problem? If not,
  30. please think again and give a solution being close to what is
  31. realistic.
